Currently, there are 1 chief physician, 2 attending doctors, and 2 resident doctors at the  Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of Zhejiang Hospital, all of whom are holding master’s degrees. They are a young and energetic, young team with excellent professional quality and complete Chinese medicine talents. This Department is a member of Shanghai Renji Hospital Rheumatology and Immunology Specialty Alliance, Zhejiang Rheumatology Medical Consortium Alliance and Zhejiang Provincial Rheumatology Specialty Alliance of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. The department has opened a general outpatient department, an expert outpatient department and a ward to treat patients with various difficult rheumatic immune diseases.

The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology has accumulated rich clinical experiences in diagnosis and treatment of various rheumatic and immune diseases like gooty arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, polymyositis / dermatomyositis, systemic sclerosis, mixed connective tissue disease, systemic vasculitis, osteoarthritis, etc. The department follows the international advanced diagnosis and treatment concept, and makes individualized comprehensive treatment plans, such as conventional oral drug treatment, drug external treatment, physical therapy, TCM syndrome differentiation treatment, joint cavity ocentesis and drug injection treatment, new biological preparation treatment, diet and life health guidance, etc.
