Department Info：

There are General Practice Outpatient and General Practice Ward at the General Practice Department of Zhejiang Hospital, employing the biological-psychological-social medical work mode to provide consecutive and comprehensive medical and healthcare services to the individuals, families and communities including the groups with risk factor for chronic diseases, undifferentiated diseases and comorbid patients through integrating with clinical, preventive, rehabilitation, traditional medicine, humanities and social disciplines and relevant contents, and has achieved better results and high satisfaction from the patients.

The General Practice Department is responsible for the general practice teaching task of the hospital, it’s now one of the first standardized clinical training bases for general practice residents in Zhejiang Province and it’s assuming the tasks of teaching the undergraduates and postgraduates for Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the provincial general practitioners transfer, standardized general practitioners resident training, and general practitioners backbone teacher training for Zhejiang Province, etc. Establish joint general practice training bases with many community health service centers in Hangzhou to ensure the effective implementation of the two-way referral program.

Currently, there are 9 medical staff at the department, including 1 chief physician, 1 associate chief physician and 4 attending physicians. All the physicians in the department have solid medical theoretical knowledge and rich clinical and teaching experiences, and have rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of undifferentiated diseases, chronic disease management, and the diagnosis and treatment of traditional medicine such as traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
