The Acupuncture Department of Zhejiang Hospital is established in 1954 upon founding of the hospital. The department was led by Doctor Ma Yusun, a national model worker and famous old TCM physician in the 1950s and 1960s, and Dong Zhenya, the famous TCM physician in Zhejiang Province, was in charge of the department in the 1970s and 1980s. The current academic leader is Jin Xiaoqing, MD, doctoral supervisor, chief TCM physician, famous TCM physician in Zhejiang Province, academic experience inheritance instructor of National Veteran TCM Physician Expert, consultant of “Zhejiang Jin Xiaoqing Famous Old Traditional Chinese Medicine Expert Inheritance Studio”, and experts enjoying the special allowance from The State Council.
