Our department belongs to the first-level clinical department of the hospital. The scopes of diagnosis and treatment including: clinical anesthesia, cardiopulmonary bypass, pain diagnosis and treatment, and rich experience in the perioperative regulation of elderly patients.

The department is fully equipped with imported multi-functional monitor, anesthesia workstation, etc., which provides a reliable guarantee for the operation to ensure the smooth operation; At the same time, we are equipped with blood recovery machine, heating and blood transfusion infusion instrument, fiberoptic bronchoscopy, nerve stimulator, anesthesia depth monitoring and other equipment to improve the rescue success rate of critically ill patients.

Our department has sent personnel to home and abroad for further study. In recent years, the extensive peripheral nerve block technology has created surgical conditions for critically ill patients, provided good postoperative analgesia for patients with chest and abdominal surgery and joint replacement, and gradually realized “painless operation”.

[Job Descriptions]

There are 15 anesthesiologists and 1 anesthesia nurse in the anesthesiology department.Among them, there are 2 senior titles, 4 intermediate titles and 10 junior titles.

Our department is good at the anesthesia of elderly patients, and more than 50% of patients are more than 70 years old.
