Belonging to Respiratory Medicine, our room has started to carry out routine Bronchoscopy check since the beginning of 1983. After the progressive development, we promote the check technique to electronic Bronchoscopy check. Currently we are focus on routine checks for unknown reason blood in sputum, atelectasis, and obstructive pneumonia patients to rule out lung cancer. Besides, our department carries out transbronchial needle aspiration, bronchoalveolar lavage technique, tracheobronchial stenosis by placement of airway stents and parts of simple removal of foreign bodies in the trachea and bronchi.
