With  1500 square meters of research space and more than 30 million RMB worth of experimental equipments, ZPKLG can meet various needs of modern biomedical research. Our major equipments include: Roche quantitative PCR instrument and real-time cell analyzer, Beckman analytical flow cytometry and chemiluminescence analyzer, Leica upright and inverted microscopes and fluorescence imaging system, Bio-rad electrophoresis system and chemiluminescence imaging systems, etc. At present, our research focuses on four major areas:

1. Monitoring and supporting of critical care technology in geriatrics

2. Diagnosis, treatment and epidemiological studies of cardio-cerebrovascular disease

3. The mechanism of aging and anti-aging therapy

4. Endocrine and metabolic disease prevention and control research.

At current stage, we are engaged in more than 10 projects of departmental, national and global major science and technology program, as well as Natural Science Foundation Projects. We have been honored departmental and provincial level science and technology achievement awards for 6 times. Moreover, we have published more than 20 SCI papers and more than 20 volumes of monographs. At present, we are in charge of the construction of national key clinical specialties, the provincial science and technology innovation team, provincial key medical disciplines, provincial medical support disciplines, provincial medical innovation disciplines, etc.
