It was set up in 2014. It gets strong support in discipline construction, talent team, diagnosis and treatment technology and advanced equipments from Zhejiang Hospital and Zhejiang Geriatric Center. Our group consists of multidisciplinary professionals, such as doctors，nurses, rehabilitation technicians, dietitians and pharmacists, from Department of Neurology and Mental Health. Our consultants are Deng Shixiong president of Taiwan Gengxin Hospital and Professor Yan Jing, the director of Medical Association Elderly Medical Branch of Zhejiang province. It is dedicated not only to provide early diagnosis, early intervention, graded nursing and training courses, but also to establish a full-service care network for dementia patients connecting family, community, social care facility and hospital to generalize a series of propagable technical specifications and standards for their provincial-wide application. It plays a significant role in optimal allocation of medical resource, developing the level of medicine, nursing, care for dementia patients, and even promoting the construction of the national elderly support system.
