In 1999, Dr. Song participated in the scientific research project of The effect of cicada flower extract on diabetes supported by Zhejiang Education Commission.

In 2002, Dr. Song participated in the scientific research project of Study on the perioperative period of joint replacement in elderly patients supported by Zhejiang Hospital.

In 2003, Dr. Song participated in the scientific research project of The study on Balloon expansion kyphoplasty for the treatment of senile osteoporotic spinal compression fractures supported by Zhejiang Health Department.

In June 2011, Dr. Song led the scientific research project of Interspinous process non-fusion dynamic internal fixation coflex treatment of elderly lumbar spinal stenosis supported by Zhejiang Health Department.

In June 2012, Dr. Song participated in the scientific research project of The study on the treatment of high-level developmental dislocation of the hip by artificial total hip replacement supported by Zhejiang Health Department and won the second prize.

Resume:

Dr. Song is a Vice President of Zhejiang Hospital. He has engaged in clinical work in orthopedics upon university graduation in 1992. He has rich clinical experience in common orthopedical illness such as the pain in the neck, waist and leg, orthopedic trauma as well as bone and joint diseases. Dr. Song has got more than 10⁺ papers published on national and provincial medical journals. Moreover, Dr. Song has led one scientific research project supported by Zhejiang Health Department, participated in many scientific research projects supported by Zhejiang Health Department as the second and third author, and participated in the compiling of the book Geriatric Orthopedic Diagnostics. Dr. Song is currently a member of Trauma Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, a member of Bone Mineral Research Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, and a Youth Committee of Orthopedic Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association.
