Chief physician, Master Tutor, director of Orthopaedics Department (III) of Zhejiang Hospital, member of Bone and Joint Committee of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Standing Committee Member of Orthopaedic Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association and Vice Chairman of Orthopaedic Branch of Hangzhou Medical Association. He serves as an Associate Editor of International Journal of Spinal Surgery and Executive Editorial Board Member of Editorial Board of The Orthopedic Journal of China.

He has been engaged in orthopedic clinical work for more than 30 years, has expertise in the field of orthopedics, especially in spinal and joint surgery, and is good at the treatment of spinal diseases such as lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, lumbar spondylolisthesis, cervical spondylosis, ankylosing spondylitis, and scoliosis and the treatment of hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow diseases and artificial joint replacement, and has achieved outstanding results in the study of degenerative scoliosis, with more than 10,000 operations for various spines, joints, injuries, and bone diseases
