The epidemic prevention and control experience of countries along the Belt and Road in Southeast Asia was exchanged by experts in critical care medicine of Zhejiang Hospital

On the evening of July 10, the Experience Exchange Seminar on Prevention and Control of covid-19 Pneumonia Epidemic and the Experience Exchange Meeting on Prevention and Control of Epidemic in Hospitals of Countries Along the Belt and Road Southeast Asia, sponsored by the Critical Care Medicine Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association and the Critical Care Professional Committee of Zhejiang Medical Association, was held in Hangzhou. Yan Jing, Vice Chairman of the Critical Care Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Chairman of the Critical Care Medicine Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association and Secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, and Hu Weihang, Assistant Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of our hospital, represented the hospital, Zhejiang and China to exchange experience with experts from Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam remotely online.


Yan Jing acted as the host of the meeting and pointed out that since the outbreak of the covid-19 Pneumonia in China, the Chinese people have been taking resolute and strict measures to prevent and control the epidemic, thus saving countless lives. As a pioneer in the prevention and control of the NCC outbreak in China, Zhejiang has been actively carrying out the treatment of NCC pneumonia with the tenet of health first, life first, all-out rescue and treatment, and not giving up on any person. Our province's critical care medical staff, moreover, went to Wuhan to support the province under the premise of ensuring a high treatment rate in the province, and accumulated rich experience in the front line of NCC pneumonia treatment. In summary, the main experiences are as follows: first, the province's heavy, critical type of patients are centralized; second, the relevant disciplines and experts are centralized, and more than 700 medical and nursing backbones in the province work together; third, the protection and supply of treatment materials are guaranteed, regardless of the cost and cost; fourth, the multidisciplinary team treatment program is adopted. At present, the domestic epidemic has been controlled to a certain extent, but we still cannot relax our vigilance, especially when the current international situation is still severe, we should have firm confidence and work together to win this battle with major infectious diseases.


Afterwards, Cai Hongliu, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of the First Hospital of Zhejiang University, Pan Konghan, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of Run Run Run Shaw Hospital of Zhejiang University, Yang Xianghong, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, and Hu Weihang, Assistant Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine of our hospital, introduced and discussed the experience of prevention and control of the epidemic in Zhejiang Province, the difficulties, key points and points to note in the treatment of critical illnesses.


Other national experts who participated in this exchange meeting were Prof. Cong Quyet Thang from Hanoi Friendship Hospital, Vietnam and President of Vietnam Anesthesiologists Association, Dr. Suraphong lorsomradee from Chiang Mai University School of Medicine, Thailand and Director of International Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiologists, Thailand, Ike Sri Redjeki, President of Indonesian Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Indonesia After the meeting, experts from the three countries unanimously praised the effectiveness of prevention and control in China, while expressing their gratitude to the team of experts from Zhejiang for providing them with valuable experience in life-saving treatment.
