Shoulder Mission, Highlight Responsibility, Strive To Be Vanguards of “Important Windows”! Party Member Meeting Held at the Hospital to Commemorate the 99th Anniversary of CPC Founding

The Party Member meeting is held at Sandun Hospital Area of our hospital on June 29th, in order to celebrate the 99th Anniversary of Communist Party of China since founding. The meeting is chaired by Zhang Hong, party committee member and vice director of the hospital, plenary members of the party committee leading group, party member representatives of various party branches, person-in-charge of Labor Union, Communist Youth League and Women’s Federation, person-in-charge of democratic parties and representatives of retired comrades attend this meeting.

In the majestic national anthem, the party member meeting begins. First, the “Two-Outstanding and One-Advanced” is commended for two hospital areas in 2019 on the meeting, and the awarding ceremony is held. 6 five-star party branches, 10 outstanding party work staff and 75 outstanding CPC members of the hospital in 2019 are commended.

Then, Yan Jing, party committee secretary of the hospital delivers the July 1st Special Party Class titled “Shoulder Mission, Highlight Responsibility, Strive To Be Vanguards of “Important Windows”; Focus on Party Construction, Strengthen Disciplines, and Assist to the New Chapter of Talent Construction”.

Yan Jing says, 2020 is a special year, the COVID-19 suffered at the beginning of the year is a huge challenge posed to the medical workers, but the party members of our hospital are fighting at the most front and have made great contributions to epidemic control and prevention. Efforts have been made by our hospital in epidemic control and prevention with relevant achievements made, 15 comrades rush to rescue the front line, 1 comrade is awarded with “Advanced Individual for COVID-19 Control and Prevention in National Health System”, 1 comrade is awarded with the title of “Outstanding CPC Member of Zhejiang Province”, 1 comrade joins the party on spot of the front line. The party organizations at various levels and the extensive mass, cadres and staff have fully played the roles of combating fortress and vanguards by rushing to the front and indomitable struggle in this severe pandemic struggle. Yan Jing raises three requirements to all the party members on this special party class: consolidate the achievements of thematic education, and accelerate the party construction work of the hospital to a new step; maintain the unified leadership from the party committee, and plan as a whole in boosting the epidemic control, prevention and medical health work; We will give full play to the role of party construction and strive to promote a new chapter of talent construction.

Yan Jing says, 2019 is the first year for our hospital to be implemented with the director responsibility system under party committee leadership, shoulder missions and highlight responsibilities, our hospital has been comprehensively implementing the political construction of the entire party, and has fully played the role of all-round leadership from the party committee. This year is the sprint year for the first centennial goal, it’s also the beginning year for construction of the “important windows”. We should strengthen ideological and theoretical guidance under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and should comprehensively implement the essences from the 19th People’s Congress, the                 Second, Third and Fourth Plenary Meeting of the 19th People’s Congress of CPC and essences from the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the 14th People’s Congress of the Provincial Party Committee. We should strengthen comprehensive leadership from our party, securely grasp the fundamental foothold of reinforcing all-round leadership from our party on various work of the hospital, intensify political leading, and ensure the hospital to develop by a high quality and always forging ahead toward the correction orientation. We should comprehensively deepen the party construction, actively implement the activity of “the year for party construction consolidation and enhancing for public hospitals”, comprehensively deepen the party construction work, and focus on party construction work by referring to “Methods for Assessing Party Construction Work Quality from Public Hospitals in Zhejiang Province (Trial)”. We should consolidate the fundamental level party construction basis, and forge the fighting fortress of party branch; intensify ideological theory construction, and establish normalized learning mechanism; strengthen party construction guidance, and firmly stick to the main ideological position.

Finally, Yan Jing says this year is the decisive year for our hospital’s re-assessment of Grade-A Class-Three level. He requires to deepen the reform of “maximally one-go” under unified leadership from the Party Committee, continue to accomplish two-card integration, smart settlement and so on; optimize the work of “double-sinking and two-enhancing”, assist in the construction of county regional hospital community, and improve the fundamental capacities; maintain the objective of intensifying the performance management from public hospitals, highlight quality and efficiency, transfer to precision management, and enhance connotation construction; further enhance the regional influence from the hospital, and actively accelerate “West Lake Model” to develop in depth and in breadth; establish and complete the public health emergency management system, in combination with the problems exposed and experiences obtained from this COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention. Hope the extensive party members and cadres to fully play the pilot and model roles, to play the role of party construction, to make full efforts in constructing the talent highland, and to strive for the continuous and rapid development of our hospital.

Then, Huang Qingdong, the party committee member and vice director of the hospital leads the oath, 14 new party members come to the stage for oath joing the party and all the party members review the oath ceremony for joining the party. The solemn oath is sonorous and forceful.

Then, He Xiaobo, party committee member and discipline inspection committee secretary of the hospital delivers an honesty warning and education class titled “The Game of Hunting Medical Staff and Anti-Hunting” for the party members. He Xiaobo introduces the current situation of medical staff hunting from the perspective of the medical industry hunting and anti-hunting game, and from the various anti-hunting measures made by the government, medical and health industry, hospitals and medical personnel themselves, reminds the party members and medical staff to constantly enhance their awareness of integrity and self-discipline, resist the outside world hunting, and protect the original intention of doctors. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, emphasis has been placed on comprehensively governing the Party and the rule of law, with zero tolerance, no restricted areas and full restoration, He Xiaobo emphasizes that the purpose of medical staff is to seek the well-being of human health, the purpose of Communist Party members is to seek the welfare of the people, and at the same time, as medical staff and party members must achieve self-discipline and self-improvement. The ambition of a doctor is to save people from illness; don’t forget the original intention to maintain as always, “insist on a doctor’s original intention, and don’t sway due to materialistic influence in life, don’t be slack due to chores in work, and don’t be exhausted due to struggling in career”, says He Xiaobo.

At last, Hong Chaoyang, party committee deputy secretary and director of the hospital reads out the activity plan of “Party Member Pilot Area and Pilot Post”. The “Party Member Pilot Area and Pilot Post” activity of our hospital is formally launched. Comrade Wan Shu from Clinical No.5 Branch and Comrade Wan Xiaoqing from Medical Technology No.2 Branch introduce the achievements of party construction work as representatives of branch secretaries. “Powerful party construction and oriented subjects”, guided by party construction, hold fast to the battle position of ideology, accelerate subject construction and promote our hospital to spread the wings and fly!

This year is the 99th anniversary of CPC’s founding, and it’s also a closing year of the”13th Five-Year-Plan”, and it’s rather a year for epidemic control and prevention, work and production resumption “neither-ignored and two-promotion” and realizing the high quality development and ushering the re-assessment of Grade-A and Class-3 from our hospital. In order to unify the thoughts, implement and carry out the various deployments from the Central Committee, Provincial Committee, Party Group and Party Committee of the hospital, and boost the party construction work to a higher level.

Before the plenary meeting, all the party committee leading members jointly attend the thematic activity of celebrating the “political birthday” of party members with the new party members from 36 on-duty branches joined the party in June, Yan Jing delivers an address and 3 representatives from the Clinical, Nursing and Administration respectively share their own “original intention and mission” for joining the party. Enhance the organizational commitment through holding the “collective birthday” for the party members, arouse the original intention from the party members for joining the party, intensify the proudness, responsibility and mission of party member status, improve the party organization’s political leadership, thought pilot capacity, development impetus and mass cohesion.
