The Party Secretary and president of the hospital were  in command in the front line, and the hospital immediately started the emergency plan, quickly set up the leadership team and organizational structure in the hospital for the work, including the coronavirus leading team, the coronavirus team and the coronavirus expert team.

The staff of the whole hospital went into battle

In response to the call of the Provincial Commission of Health, the staff of the whole hospital gave up their leave, and the leaders and the key department staff were in stand-by mode for 24 hours, sticking to their posts in an orderly way, so as to ensure the victory of this tough battle of epidemic prevention and control.

The Party Committee of the hospital issued the Proposal on Fighting novel coronavirus, demanding that party members and cadres should play a pioneer and exemplary role, cooperate hand in hand and unite sincerely, and take the initiative to participate in the fighting the war against the epidemic!

Daily regular meeting of the leading team informed the progress of fever patients and the prevention and control trends in the hospital, and published, discussed and coordinated issues such as the revision of diagnosis and treatment plan, fever clinic, staffing and material reserve of infectious diseases department, the latest training on prevention and control knowledge, inspection results of inspection team, etc.

The administrative and logistics departments fully cooperated to ensure this battle for health protection. The medical department arranged emergency plans and carried out many trainings and drills; The nursing department formulated the joint prevention and control mechanism and emergency plan for multiple wards, and deployed and coordinated the implementation of emergency prevention and control work. The disease infection management department formulated a series of measures in combination with hospital practice, such as working system, organizing personnel training, standardizing diagnosis and treatment standards, setting reasonable procedures and solid health education to effectively prevent and control, and put forward corresponding suggestions. The preventive healthcare department assisted disease control department in epidemiological investigation and sampling inspection, strictly implemented infectious disease epidemic situation report, assisted medical department and hospital infection management department to carry out training of medical staff on novel coronavirus protection knowledge, and ensured the hospital health window education, hospital preview triage guidance and fever patient registration supervision. The medical engineering Department ensured that all materials are purchased, supplemented and distributed in time, not only to guarantee of materials, but also to supervise the disinfection and other supplies such as used epidemic prevention clothing for harmless treatment. The logistics management center and the property management service carried out epidemic thorough prevention and disinfection in the whole hospital, made safety records, and actively carried out necessary measures such as ventilation and disinfection in crowded places and key places in time. The security department strengthened security forces, hospital security management, and security patrols in both hospital zones. The Food Department kept sufficient food reserves, increased the staff on duty, and provided food for hospital staff and inpatients.

Make quick emergency plans

Ensure the work in epidemic prevention and control, and quickly formulate emergency plans. In accordance with the requirements of the provincial party Committee, the provincial government and relevant departments, we comprehensively strengthened the staff number in outpatient pre-examination and triage and fever clinic, strictly carried out the monitoring and screening of suspicious cases in accordance with the norms and procedures, and fully guaranteed the epidemic prevention and control.

Make good reserves of personnel and materials

Build an expert team and personnel reserves. The medical department and nursing department responded to the call, and the medical staff actively signed up to form three teams of medical treatment, nursing and inspection, and set up the first and second emergency staff. At present, hundreds of medical personnel have joined the emergency rescue team, and Wang Yanhong, head nurse of respiratory medicine department, Dr. Hu Weihang of ICU and nurse Ren Qi have formed a medical team for treating ordinary patients, waiting for the call and getting ready to go to Wuhan at any time. Necessary material reserves are ensured sufficient to make sure the smooth development of all work in the hospital.
