The sudden outbreak of the corona virus has made this winter cold, but there is always some warmth around us to support us. To contribute to the fight against the epidemic, the kind deeds from ordinary front-line medical workers are like the light of fireflies. Although they feel weak, they can shine with the sun and the moon in the hearts of those who are illuminated.

On Valentine's Day, the patient sent her a poem.

On Valentine's Day, February 14, the post-95's "beautiful little nurse" Panting in the observation ward of Sandun Hospital received a poem from the patient. This poem has nothing to do with love, but the precious affection of medical care during the epidemic. The poem was written by a patient in the observation ward.

The day before, the female patient came to the fever clinic of Sandun Hospital for treatment, and then she was sent to the observation ward. She was caught off guard by a fever during an extraordinary period. When she learned that the female patient was eager to know the CT results of the lungs, but the network equipment was not responding. In order to relieve the patient's anxiety, Panting added her We Chat and quickly went to the doctor. A short video of the film on the computer was sent over. That night, because the patient was worried about her condition and was not accustomed to the hospital environment, the patient stayed up all night, so she wrote such a short poem with sincerity, thanking the nurse for comforting her anxious .

On February 14, another patient was asked to stay in the observation ward off guard. He would stay in the hospital all night without any daily necessities. What should he do? Panting understood her needs and helped her buy daily necessities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and charging cables. Panting, who was admitted to the hospital in 2018, has always been a member of the Orthopedics (3) of Sandun Hospital. “The nurse is the person closest to the patient. It is our responsibility to take care of them with empathy. This poem was not just written for me, but to all the nurses in our department!" Panting said. She smiled so beautifully.

Hu Naihua, who was fighting on the front line, was admitted to the observation ward. She has tested negative for two nucleic acid tests. After 14 days of isolation at home, Hu Naihua returned to work in the fever clinic of Sandun Hospital. During the past period of time, her body and mood has been like riding a roller coaster. The continuous high-intensity work was climbing, until she reached the peak of the ups and downs when she was admitted to the isolation ward with a fever. After various examinations, it was confirmed that her physical condition had nothing to do with the new corona virus pneumonia. Finally, the "roller coaster" stabilized.

Hu Naihua, who was originally a nurse at the fever clinic in Lingyin Hospital, received news on January 8 that the fever clinic in Sandun Hospital needed support. At that time, the corona virus pneumonia epidemic had not yet broken out on a large scale, but the flu was coming fiercely, "I am a party member, I signed up. Coupled with the previous experience, I am familiar with Sandun Hospital,” she said. On January 9, Hu Naihua was in the fever clinic of Sandun Hospital for the first shift at midnight. With the continuous escalation of the epidemic, Hu Naihua and his colleagues' work rhythm and physical load continued to increase. What impressed her was that there was a steady stream of patients on the night of January 23rd (Lunar New Year 29). At the time, she was still wondering: What happened this year? It's almost the New Year. How could there be so many patients? And they started in the afternoon. For the first-midnight shift starting at 4 o'clock, they must wear diapers and protective clothing after lunch at 3:30 and last until midnight. She also never expected that the observation ward actually "reserved" a bed for her.

It was the fifth day of the Lunar New Year on January 29, and she felt tense as soon as she took over. A patient has already been sent to the observation ward, and a mother and daughter (the daughter who came in contact with the colleague who came back from Wuhan during the annual meeting) is waiting for the CT report. When they were sent to the observation ward, the entire observation room was disinfected, and two more patients with a contact history in Wuhan came to see a doctor and another round of blood draw and CT examinations began.

On the second day, Hu Naihua learned that the nucleic acid tests of the two mothers and daughters were both positive. Although she was worried, she recalled over and over again that the protective measures were in place and the vigilance was strong. It should be no problem. Unexpectedly, on the eighth day of Lunar New Year's Day on February 1, she started to have a fever, feeling nauseous, fatigued, and head swollen, and she needed to be admitted to the observation ward. Her son in her hometown called over and over again to say, "Mom, you should eat better and pay attention to your body." However, on the phone, she still couldn't tell the reality that she was being quarantined. Fortunately, everything is okay, and now Hu Naihua has returned to her job.

Hu Naihua's husband, Zhang Wanggang, a staff member of Zhejiang Hospital's Department of Science and Education, said, “My wife has worked hard on the front line, so I will do a good job of logistical support at home, support her as always, and take care of families and work better."

Don't ask for anything else; just ask for understanding and tolerance.

Every year near the end of the year, it is a flu outbreak period. Before the outbreak of the corona virus pneumonia, Dr. Yang Jianle from the Department of Infectious Diseases of Zhejiang Hospital and his colleagues started two shifts, from 8 am to 5 pm, and 5 pm to 8 am. During peak times, more than 200 patients were treated a day. The doctors were dizzy with exhaustion when they got off work. As soon as the epidemic came, they put on protective clothing, and work continuously without eating or drinking became a new test. Several times near noon, his colleague, Dr. Wang Zhehua from the Department of Infectious Diseases of Zhejiang Hospital asked him to take off his protective clothing and have lunch. He was rejected by him saying, "I am full in the morning and not hungry now". For 8 hours, 9 hours, and 10 hours, he constantly challenged his physical limits.

Some people have the responsibility on their shoulders, with persistence and perseverance to block the dangers of the epidemic; some people never forget, with tenderness and warmth, conveying love and positive energy. Angels in white are such a group of lovely people. Although they have paid a lot, they only ask for a little understanding and tolerance from the patients. "When I was in the fever clinic two days ago, an 86-year-old grandmother had to wait for nearly 20 minutes because of other patients, but she and her family did not complain. Every time I was busy with work, and I told them to wait for a while, they were not at all impatient, and they kept saying that the doctor is busy, and they are not in a hurry, and doctors are not easy. When doctors heard these words, they felt especially warm in my heart, even if they had insisted on not eating or drinking or spreading for seven or eight hours in a suit. “As a medical worker, I have contributed my part in this epidemic to ensure everyone's health. At this time, as long as the patient can have more understanding and tolerance, and express kindness to us, that is the greatest encouragement and the best return for us,” Yang Jianle said.
