The sky is also sentimental, and the "Zhejiang" wind keeps out the rain. As the situation of the new coronary pneumonia in Hubei improved, the assistance to the Hubei medical team began to withdraw in an orderly manner. The 151-member Zhejiang-aided Hubei medical team includes the 150 members from Zhejiang-aided Wuhan second batch of medical teams (located in Tianyou Hospital Affiliated to Wuhan University of Science and Technology), and an expert from Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They completed the rescue mission and set off on their way home. They took Chang Long Airlines flight GJ6001 this afternoon and returned to Hangzhou. The airport held a "passing the water gate" ceremony to welcome medical staff home with the highest courtesy of civil aviation and wash away the dust for the most beautiful retrogrades.

Zhejiang Provincial Party Secretary Che Jun, Governor Yuan Jiajun and other provincial leaders, Zhejiang Hospital Party Secretary Yan Jing, Song Baishan’s spouse Shen Xin and other medical team representatives went to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to welcome the triumphant return of the white-clothed soldiers and show respect to those who continued to fight on the front line of the epidemic. All the medical staff extended their lofty respect, cordial condolences to the medical team members who are still standing in Wuhan, Hubei, and heartfelt thanks to the family members of the medical staff who silently supports.

The second batch of medical teams aided by Zhejiang Province to Wuhan on their return journey was led by Song Baishan, Vice President of Zhejiang Hospital. Among them, 150 team members came from dozens of provincial, municipal and county-level hospitals in Zhejiang Province, including 40 doctors, 97 nurses, 1 disinfection and sterilization personnel, 2 administrative staff, and 10 medical technicians.

They set off from Hangzhou on January 28, and then took over two intensive care wards and one critical intensive care ward of Tianyou Hospital affiliated to Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Because of its outstanding performance, the second batch of medical teams aided by Zhejiang Province to Wuhan was commended by the three national departments and was awarded the title of "Advanced Group for the Prevention and Control of New Coronary Pneumonia in the National Health System".

After withdrawing from the ward taken over by the Tianyou Hospital of Wuhan University of Science and Technology on March 15th, the members of the second batch of Zhejiang aid Wuhan medical team who had been spinning for more than a month, can finally breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy Wuhan in the spring. The newly made "comrades in arms" in Wuhan took a group photo to say goodbye.

On the eve of parting, the medical team leader Song Baishan and the team members sorted the materials and donated them to the local government, hospitals, and elderly care institutions, including protective clothing, goggles, milk, etc., to cheer for Wuhan!

Looking back at this unforgettable and extraordinary experience of a lifetime, the team members expressed emotion and pride for the sweat and tears they shed, but at the same time they were also very hard to separate.

Zhejiang Experience entered "Tian You"

10 laboratory experts added "blood"

At 6 pm on January 27th, Song Baishan received the order of assembling. At 4 pm on January 28th, the second batch of the Wuhan medical team from Zhejiang Province chartered a flight to Wuhan to support Tianyou Hospital affiliated to Wuhan University of Science and Technology. After three days of intensive training, the team members began to take over the ward and treat critically ill patients.

“In addition to medical care, there are cleaning staff in the ward. However, Wuhan was in a wartime state at the end of January and no workers were recruited during the epidemic. In addition to daily nursing care of patients, nurses also have a lot of heavy physical labor to do.” In Song Baishan's eyes, all the female nurses in the team became female men.

"When we came, we were 149 people. On February 10, the team added a psychologist." During the epidemic, Wuhan Tianyou Hospital was listed as the third batch of designated hospitals for the treatment of new coronary pneumonia by the Wuhan Municipal Government. Only fever clinics and isolation wards are set up, and the 12 wards at the maximum admitted 350 patients with new coronary pneumonia.

In order to improve the expertise and ability of Tianyou Hospital to respond to the epidemic more quickly, Zhejiang Second Team did some useful explorations when cooperating with Tianyou Hospital. For example, at the invitation of Tianyou Hospital, Zhejiang Second Team sent 3 deputy chief physicians of the Department of Respiratory Medicine to serve as the business director of other wards of Tianyou Hospital, and worked collaboratively with Wuhan Medical and Nursing They recommended Zhejiang Province's mature experience in Infectious Diseases and critical care medicine to Tianyou Hospital, and guided Tianyou Hospital's medical staff to quickly master the adjustment of ventilator parameters and standardized the use of antibiotics, so as to achieve the homogeneity of the hospital's medical quality and medical safety.

"Different from other medical teams, our team had 10 laboratory experts from county-level hospitals in Zhejiang Province. We had expanded the laboratory team of Tianyou Hospital and carried out a total of 17,424 routine laboratory testing projects." Song Baishan said with emotion. There were four generations born in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. "The youngest doctors and nurses were born in 1996, but their strength was beyond our imagination!"

Medical care and treatment of diseases and "treatment of the heart"

Paper folded roses were sent to patients, and pictures and texts were exchanged in ICU

Before starting the job, the doctors and nurses needed to make some preparations, one of which was a haircut. Working in the isolation ward, the hat would be exposed in the hair, which would easily increase the risk of cross-infection. Some female staff members needed to cut their long hair short. At that time, the spectacular scene of nearly 30 doctors and nurses voluntarily having haircuts at the resident was moving. Seeing everyone's calm expressions, Song Baishan was moved and distressed.

Initially, due to the shortage of protective equipment, the medical team implemented 4 shifts, and the working hours of doctors and nurses in each shift exceeded 8 hours. The doctors and nurses in the isolation ward did not eat or drink for almost seven or eight hours, and diapers became standard.

"When we started to treat patients in early February, the epidemic situation in Wuhan was very severe, and they were in a state of ‘people waiting for bed’. When patients were admitted to the hospital, they were often in very serious conditions and easily lost confidence and gave up treatment." Song Baishan said, in addition to daily treatment, the doctors and nurses also needed to "cure the mind."

In mid-February, in order to encourage the patients, the nurses found some red A4 papers, folded them into paper roses and gave them to the patients. It just happened that an old couple lived in the ward. Grandpa was downcast every day, and everyone encouraged the grandmother to present flowers to her husband. This trick was very effective. The two couples holding flowers were moved by the love of the doctors, encouraged each other, and decided to regroup and defeat the disease.

"Seeing that some patients were infected with the whole family and no one took care of their diet and nutrition. Our team members also took their own milk, cakes and other snacks into the ward and gave them. In the ICU ward, many patients needed tracheal intubation or mask oxygen, and it was difficult for them to communicate with doctors and nurses. In order to understand their needs, the nurses thought of a good way to draw simple strokes such as ‘back itch, eating, drinking, and going to the toilet’ in their notebooks, pointing to the pictures and texts and asking them one by one." In Song Baishan's eyes, this kind of behavior was intimate and heartwarming.

There were 54 party members in this group of medical teams. There were also many team members actively approaching the party organization, and 27 medical nurses had been approved of joining the party, many of whom were born in the 90s.

Rehabilitation patients donated 5 ventilators

To summarize diagnosis and treatment experience and compile "Tian You Experience"

Sending away the cold winter and ushering in the spring, the hard work of the doctors and nurses were in return for the patients’ gratitude.

In the ICU of Tian You Hospital, a middle aged man in his 40s lived. When he was first admitted to the hospital, he was critically ill due to inflammatory storm and needed tracheal intubation.

"When Zhejiang medical team took over, after working hard to treat, the man's condition miraculously improved. He especially thanked us and said that after he recovered and was discharged from the hospital, he would donate ventilators to us." He thought it was a joke, but he did not expect the man to be discharged from the hospital. Sure enough, through the help of friends, he purchased 5 ventilators and donated them to the hospital. Song Baishan said that these machines had now been used by other patients.

When we came to Tianyou Hospital, we only had one goal: to save the lives of patients with Zhejiang experience.

As of March 13th, the second batch of the Wuhan medical team in Zhejiang Province had admitted a total of 192 new patients, of which 108 were severely ill, 32 were critically ill, 135 have recovered and been discharged, and 46 patients have been transferred to new designated sites hospital to continue to get treatment.

On February 14, the first batch of 4 patients from the two critically ill areas recovered and was discharged. On that day, there was heavy goose feather snow in Wuhan, but the doctors and nurses were excited and used their mobile phones to take pictures of the moving scene at that time. "These patients made us believe that the sun would always come out regardless of wind or rain."

"It was not yet the end, we needed to discuss and reflect on the experience and lessons in fighting the epidemic." The many clinical manifestations of new coronary pneumonia and the patient's responded to treatment have overturned the traditional experience of the medical team. Song Baishan took care of the team members, and they must continue to systematically summarize experience.

Last week, the members of the second batch of medical teams in Zhejiang Province did an amazing thing. Several doctors collected the official diagnosis and treatment guidelines and expert consensus, combined with their experience in the treatment process during this period, and wrote them spontaneously. A work manual of more than 60 pages formed the Tian You experience. After reading it, Song Baishan also gave a thumbs up, "This was a carefully detailed and executable manual, including treatment, nursing, sensory control, hand hygiene, Chinese medicine treatment, etc., which could be used as a summary of experience for colleagues as a reference in the treatment of patients. "

Farewell to Wuhan, Song Baishan had these things to say...

1. Who was your most concerned person during this time?

——My old mother. I was from Xiangyang, Hubei. On the day I led the team to Wuhan, my relatives saw Zhejiang Satellite TV broadcast news in my hometown and forwarded it to my mother in Xiangyang. My mother was very worried, so she immediately made a video call to me. I was afraid of revealing something, so I quickly clicked on the video and then called back by voice, telling her that I was fighting the epidemic in Zhejiang. After that, every time my mother made a video call, I had to press it down and then call back. It was not until the situation improved last week that I communicated with her on the video to let her rest assured.

2. What did you bring back from Wuhan?

——Temporary work permit issued to me by Tianyou Hospital. I would definitely keep this work permit for a long time, witnessing the anti-epidemic action led by me in Wuhan.

3. What did you want to do first thing after going home?

—— To make a large table of specialty dishes for my wife and son. During the time, I was away from home, my wife, who was also a medical staff, was particularly hard during this time, and I would also like to express my gratitude to her.

"Fire line Captain " Song Baishan's message:

This was a powerful stroke in my lives

The commendation this time was an affirmation of the work of our Zhejiang Second Team. We arrived in Wuhan early to start our work, and the workload was heavy. We were united and worked hard. A thousand words can only be thanked.

I was from Xiangyang, Hubei and I am also a doctor. It was only natural that I can serve my hometown. I was especially grateful to my team members for their dedication to this battle. I also wanted to thank the local medical staff in Wuhan, who helped each other with us and under greater pressure. This experience would add an indelible mark to our lives.

The epidemic will eventually pass, waiting for spring to bloom. Zero infection is the key to victory. Our Zhejiang Second Team has not been within 24 hours from the assembly to the departure. At this moment, my biggest wish was to fulfill the promise made during the pre-war mobilization: Since we bring everyone out, we must take everyone home in their entirety!

Looking forward to the safe return of the teammates who was still fighting on the front line

The dawn of victory is getting closer, but the war "epidemic" is not over yet. When welcoming the 150 members of the second batch of a medical team from Zhejiang Province to Wuhan, there are still many members of the medical team from Zhejiang Province to carry out medical treatment work on the front line, and pay tribute to them!

I hope this epidemic will pass soon and everyone will be well! I hope that the remaining heroes from Zhejiang Province who supported Hubei would return safely as soon as possible!
