First aid, attention to vulnerable groups 65th anniversary of the hospital series of activities - Our hospital held the 20th "World First Aid Day" theme publicity activities

First aid is not the patent of hospitals, on the contrary, the real first aid starts from outside the hospital; first aid skills may not be commonly used in normal times, but once used, it can save lives in the first time, as long as the general public's knowledge of first aid is improved, the pre-hospital emergency rate can be increased and lives can be saved. 14 September 2019 is the 20th World First Aid Day, with the theme of "First Aid, Attention to vulnerable groups", according to the notice of the provincial Red Cross Society on the activities of "World First Aid Day 2019", our hospital implements the spirit of the notice, fulfills the obligations of our Red Cross emergency ambulance volunteer team, and combines the provincial government's "three services - serving the grassroots, serving the masses and serving enterprises" call, held several promotional activities from September 10 to September 20.

On the morning of September 10, just in time for Teachers' Day, our medical and nursing staff and Red Cross emergency ambulance volunteer team members brought expert consultation services and CPR skills training to teachers and students at the library of Lvcheng Yuhua Pro-School. The activity was welcomed by teachers and students, and school leaders said it was the best gift for "Teacher's Day" and hoped to jointly organize one to two first aid training sessions each year to improve the overall first aid capability of the school.

On the morning of October 17, just in time for the "Month of Respect for the Elderly" in Zhejiang Provincial Senior Activity Center, our medical and nursing staffs and Red Cross Emergency Rescue Volunteer Team members provided warm-hearted volunteer consultation services and CPR skills training for the elderly, benefiting more than 200 people. The activity ended successfully. "The elderly are one of the vulnerable groups, and bringing first aid knowledge to them is the best gift for them on Chung Yeung Festival", said Wan, the activity section chief of the provincial senior activity center.

In the afternoon of September 20, our Red Cross Emergency Ambulance Volunteer Service Team went to Kunhe Community of Hangzhou Mansion to conduct CPR first aid knowledge and operational skills training for 25 staff members of two enterprises, Krypton Space and Air Macau. The participants in the training were elites and the younger generation in the enterprises. Cris, the person in charge of Krypton Space, said, "Nowadays, under the huge workload and psychology faced, the chances of sudden events such as cardiac arrest are also increasing, so it is necessary to learn first aid knowledge and skills, a skill that benefits people and themselves."

In the afternoon of September 21, our hospital participated in the "Celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China! First aid, focus on vulnerable groups! --Zhejiang Red Cross commemorates the 20th World First Aid Day and emergency rescue training into rural cultural halls", in the cultural hall of Qingyunqiao village in Fuyang, four medical personnel from our Red Cross emergency rescue volunteer service team participated in the performance, performing the skit "Save a life! --First Aid for Foreign Body Throat". The performance was a great success and received good reviews.
