The Department of Nutrition of our hospital has won several honors

The Department of Nutrition is a key discipline of our hospital, with 10 members, including 4 with senior titles, 1 doctor and 6 masters, and was awarded the title of "Advanced Group of Nutrition Science and Technology in Zhejiang Province" in 2017.

It is mainly responsible for hospital meal management, nutrition clinic, nutrition consultation, nutrition screening and evaluation, student teaching and training of community medical workers, and external publicity. The nutrition support team has been established, and the dietitians participate in the grand rounds of the directors of clinical departments every week, and carry out multidisciplinary team treatment and discussion for patients with severe malnutrition. We have an enteral nutrition allocation room, and have standardized parenteral enteral nutrition treatment. It cooperates with community hospitals to provide nutritional interventions for special populations, etc.

Participate in the national regional medical center project to build a geriatric nutrition information platform. The research direction involves many fields of nutrition, and the members of the department have published more than 20 papers, including more than 10 SCI papers, and undertaken more than 10 projects at the bureau level and above. We have written 2 books on nutrition.

The nutrition department of our hospital has close contact with famous nutrition experts at home and abroad, and constantly introduces the latest research results and practical experience in nutrition therapy. It has been applied for several national and provincial continuing medical education training courses to provide learning opportunities and communication platforms for primary doctors. It has been committed to the nutrition management of patients with chronic diseases and the publicity and promotion of correct health concept for a long time, and has carried out extensive nutrition science promotion and education on TV, newspapers, radio and new media such as WeChat. We also participate in multidisciplinary team building and grassroots community nutrition education. On average, more than 200 interviews or TV programs on nutrition and health care are recorded every year, and we work tirelessly for the progress of nutrition in our province.

It is reported that in the 7th Qianjiang Clinical Nutrition Forum of Zhejiang Province held on November 8-9, the Department of Nutrition of Zhejiang Hospital won the following achievements.

1. The third place in the province was awarded the title of "Top Ten Nutrition Departments" in Zhejiang Province, setting an advanced model to promote the standardization of clinical nutrition work.

2. In the 3rd Clinical Nutrition Therapy Case Presentation Competition of Zhejiang Province, Dr. Yu Xiaolong won the second prize of the case presentation competition with the second place in total score.

3. In the second exhibition of nutrition science in Zhejiang Province, our nutrition department won the "Best Nutrition Popularization Award".

4、It is reported that in the recent annual meeting of Zhejiang Nutrition Association, Director Zheng Peifen won the honorary title of "Advanced Individual" of Zhejiang Nutrition Association in 2019 and was elected as the director of the seventh council of Zhejiang Nutrition Association.
