    This year is the 65th anniversary of the establishment of our hospital, which has been committed to providing better health services for elderly patients for 65 years.     In the outpatient lobby, the visiting leaders stopped at the one-stop outpatient service center and the shared wheelchair. Our hospital was one of the first hospitals to establish a "one-stop examination appointment center", where outpatients can make appointments for multiple examinations at one time, and the order of examinations can be intelligently arranged. Sandun Hospital also adopts "one center, multiple services", and the appointment platform is fully connected at any of the service desks of the treatment center in the outpatient building, so that doctors can also make appointments in the consultation room.

As the leading teaching center in the province, the Medical Simulation Center adopts the advanced "hospital within a hospital" design to simulate the real hospital environment, such as general outpatient clinic, operating room, ICU, endoscopy center, etc. The layout of the rooms and the brand of the instruments and equipment are all consistent with the clinic, so that the trainees can smoothly transition to the clinic after completing the simulation training in the center.

The Department of Geriatrics of our hospital took the lead in establishing the Zhejiang Geriatrics Alliance in 2013 and the East China Geriatrics Hospital Alliance in 2015, with Yan Jingjun, secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, as the chairman of the first alliance to carry out academic exchanges and talent training in geriatrics. In June 2017, we took the lead in establishing the Zhejiang Geriatrics Specialty Alliance, forming a medical network covering urban areas, suburban counties, mountainous areas and islands, providing the province's 10 million elderly people with an integrated service structure of medical care from "acute, difficult and doubtful" diagnosis and treatment to chronic disease management and rehabilitation, alleviating the challenges of an aging population in a comprehensive manner.In May 2017, Yan Jing and Chen Xujiao, director of our geriatrics department, led and authored the first expert consensus on comprehensive geriatric assessment in China, "Expert Consensus on the Application of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Technology in China". In June 2017, our hospital reached a cooperation agreement with the People's Government of West Lake District, and in March 2018, we established a medical care ward of West Lake District Hospital of Integrative Medicine, with medical support and nursing care as the main focus, and opened a multidisciplinary integrated care model to create an integrated platform of medical care and health care, and build a "West Lake model" for seamless referrals between big cities, communities and families, and open up the "last mile" of integrated medical care and health care services.
