This photo was taken in May 2016, when I participated in the "six visits to the countryside" and "two visits" of the provincial CPPCC, and went to Changshan County to carry out health visits to the countryside. At that time, I went with the medical team to the Kangshou Home for the Elderly in He Township, where I conducted medical consultations for more than 60 elderly people with limited mobility. On January 16, 2003, I entered the provincial People's Congress Hall for the first time as a member of the provincial CPPCC, and attended the 9th plenary session of the provincial CPPCC. This was a memorable moment in my life and a new starting point in my life journey. At that time, I secretly resolved that the only way to live up to this honor was to keep my ambition and work hard.

From 2003 to 2017, I have been a CPPCC member for 15 years. 15 years of performing my duties, I have never forgotten this original intention and always think about how to make my medical skills more effective and better serve the public through the stage of CPPCC.

Actively participating in the activities organized by the CPPCC in the countryside has become one of the most important things I look forward to every year. For 15 years as a CPPCC member, I have actively participated every year, whether in mountainous areas, islands, or rural areas and towns, and have never been absent. Year after year, I have left my care and help for patients in the corners of Zhejiang, which has become a glorious mark in my life.

In the spring of 2003, the first year I became a CPPCC member, I actively enrolled in the provincial CPPCC to send health activities to the countryside. I remember that year, because of the cold spring, it was particularly cold on the day I went to the countryside. I saw one patient after another in the reception room of Songyang County People's Hospital from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for a half-hour meal break at noon. In just two days, I treated more than 100 patients in total. Although I was very tired, the spiritual enrichment and satisfaction was unprecedented.

Since then, going to the countryside has become a keyword in my working life every year, leaving many moments that I still can't forget.

In 2017, the provincial CPPCC went to Pingyang County, Wenzhou City and Quzhou City, Qujiang District, two places, to carry out health to the countryside, I signed up to participate, as always.

I was about to get up after a morning of medical consultation at the People's Hospital of Pingyang County when a female patient in her 60s walked in, accompanied by her family. She had suffered a serious trauma to her eye and her condition was complicated and required surgery. I couldn't eat lunch, so I immediately arranged the relevant tests and successfully operated on her that afternoon. Faced with the patient's improved condition and the family thanking me, the tiredness from the whole day's intense work gradually disappeared at that moment.

It was already night time when I finished the clinic that day, and on the way back to my home, the stars were dotted and the fragrance of white orchids was hidden. Time passes, but the fragrance of orchids in my memory is still fragrant and clear ......

The grassroots people go to provincial hospitals for medical treatment, which brings a large economic and living burden to individuals and families, and many families become poor due to illness, and return to poverty due to illness, which is heartbreaking. Provincial CPPCC "six times delivery to the countryside" "double penetration" activities, for our CPPCC members to build a close service to the masses, learning from the masses, but also the quality of medical services to the grassroots people's doorstep.
