On May 13, the Heart Failure Center of Zhejiang Hospital welcomed the on-site examination from the headquarters of China Heart Failure Center. Yan Jing first extended a warm welcome to the expert group and gave a welcoming speech. He said that in order to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, ensure every heart failure patient can receive the most appropriate treatment and minimize the re-hospitalization rate and mortality of heart failure, Zhejiang Hospital established the Heart Failure Center in March 2018, and in September of the same year, became the construction unit of the Union of Heart Failure Centers in Zhejiang Province.

Tang Lijiang said that the Heart Failure Center of Zhejiang Hospital will continue to improve and develop a "two-meeting" system to vigorously improve the level of medical quality management of heart failure, and proposed four major improvement goals: to establish the Zhejiang Heart Failure Center Alliance, to further improve the construction of the heart failure database, to give full play to the role of MDT, and to continue to improve the quality and quantity of follow-up visits.
The expert team communicated and asked questions with the hospital leaders, the person in charge of the certification of the heart failure center, and the examination staff of the heart failure center, and reviewed the personnel qualification, documents and system, training and education, and the follow-up data of patients with heart failure in Zhejiang Hospital to understand the comprehensive medical level of Zhejiang Hospital in prevention and treatment and follow-up visits of heart failure.
After the examination, the expert group made a summary review, fully affirming the achievements made during the construction and operation of the Heart Failure Center of Zhejiang Hospital, while also putting forward some suggestions, hoping that Zhejiang Hospital will further improve the level of comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of heart failure.
Yan Jing said that the Heart Failure Center of Zhejiang Hospital will take this examination as an opportunity to continuously improve the quality, deepen the construction of the medical community, make up the shortcomings of cardiovascular prevention and treatment, and bring health to patients in accordance with the requirements of the Heart Failure Center headquarters.
