The World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is on the second Sunday of October every year, and this year it falls on October 10, 2020. Initiated by WHO, it was promoted by the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA) in 2004, and now has met with active response and strong support from relevant organizations of 77 countries.
Birth and death are processes every one must experience. As people's living standards improve, people attach more and more importance to quality of life. For people whose illness has reached an advanced stage, do they have to suffer to death? Cannot they live the rest of their life in a quality and respectful way with the aid of more medical treatment and humanitarian care services? Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves. Quality care can help the patients live their rest of life respectfully and perfectly. Therefore, Zhejiang Hospital and Xihu District Integrated TCM and Western Medicine Hospital will hold together "Hospice and Palliative Care, My Comfort and Care" Large-scale Lecture and Free Medical Charity Activity. Remember to bring relevant medical records for consultation services. We are looking forward to your presence!
