Nutrition Department of Zhejiang Hospital Launched Health Consultation Lecture and Free Clinic in “2019 National Nutrition Week”

In order to actively respond to the call of Food Department of the National Health Commission and Chinese Nutrition Society, and earnestly implement the requirements of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission for the National Nutrition Week, to build a brand of "Healthy Zhejiang, Nutritious Zhejiang", to raise the nutrition awareness of all people, to advocate a healthy lifestyle, and to establish a scientific diet concept, on the morning of May 15, Dr. Zheng Peifen, Director of Nutrition Department of Zhejiang Hospital, together with colleagues in the department, conducted a health consultation lecture and charity clinic in Qixialing Community, Xihu District, that was, "2019 National Nutrition Week". The theme of this year's "National Nutrition Week" is " Rational Diet, Green Vegetables and Fruits Keep Us Healthy".



The activity attracted many people with diversified forms and rich content. It not only gave a popular science lecture on "How to Choose Vegetables and Fruits Scientifically", but also gave free blood pressure measurement and provided health consultations to answer questions for everyone. It provided dietary guidance for people with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, dyslipidemia, osteoporosis, gout, etc., and distributed nutrition promotion materials for those who come to consult. This nutrition clinic and popular science education activity was aimed at improving public awareness of basic principles of food nutrition and balanced diet, and promoting the formation and consolidation of healthy eating habits of the whole people. It made everyone intuitively feel that nutrition plays an important role in improving the quality of life and leading a healthy life. The clinic was unanimously praised.
