A Range of Activities of "Safety Production Month" Made and Implemented by Zhejiang Hospital with Slogan of "Preventing risks, Eliminating Hidden Dangers and Preventing Accidents."

This June is the eighteenth "safe production month" in China.During that month, according to the notice of the Zhejiang provincial health and hygiene Committee on Issuing the plan of "safe production month" and "Keep safety production all the way " in 2019, Zhejiang hospital considered self situation and takes various measures to achieve practical results.Guided by Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, we should further study and publicize the spirit of the important discussion of general secretary Xi Jinping on emergency management and production safety, carry out the major decisions and arrangements for the work safety of the Party Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government and firmly establish the concept of safety development.With the aim of take precautions against major risks, eliminate potential safety hazards and effectively curb production safety accidents, focusing on the firefight safety and safety of hazardous chemicals. It was with the theme of "preventing risks, eliminating hidden dangers and curbing accidents". It's to organize and carry out colorful and popular publicity and education activities, effectively enhance safety awareness, strictly manage safety. It's required to implement safety production responsibilities, pay close attention to the activity of "safety production month", and promote the sustainable and stable safety production situation of health system in the province so as to create a good work safety environment for the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China. 

1、 Strengthening organizational leadership to ensure work effectiveness.

2. Comprehensively organize training and improve emergency awareness。

4、 Organizing actual fire drill to improve emergency safety level.

In the middle and late June, in order to cooperate with the safety production month, each ward of Zhejiang hospital made the fire drills one after another.During the drill, the participants performed their respective duties, actively cooperated and orderly, further enhanced the fire safety awareness of all the employees, increased the fire safety knowledge and improving their escape skills and laid a good foundation for ensuring the safety of hospital life and property and building a safe hospital atmosphere.

5、 Strictly controlling the quality of the hospital to ensure the safety in the aspects of medical quality.

In order to ensure the timely and effective treatment of medical personnel after occupational exposure and to further reduce the risk of infectious disease to guarantee the occupational safety of medical personnel, on June 12, the Medical Department, Hospital Infection Management Department and Medical Laboratory Department of Zhejiang hospital jointly conducted an emergency response drill for occupational exposure of medical personnel.

The drill was made in the simulated background of the blood drawing personnel are stabbed by HIV positive sample needle. The drill activities were carried out according to the procedures specified in the standard operating procedures for occupational exposure disposal of Zhejiang hospital, including emergency operation of the exposed parts after occupational exposure, filling in the occupational exposure registration form, information report, assessment of exposure risk. Those together with the post exposure prevention and serological monitoring and so on would be done orderly and be demonstrated.The drill process was orderly with reasonable process progress and proper protective measures.

Zhang Hong, vice president of Zhejiang hospital,fully affirmed the form and effect of the drill, and pointed out that the emergency disposal of occupational exposure is one of the important part of hospital safety management.We should further implement various emergency disposal processes and specifications, simulate more scenarios of emergency disposal process drills, and make publicity and education films to enable the staff of the hospital to understand and master occupational safety requirements as well as the standard preventive measures.It is required to standardize various operations, enhance the self-protection awareness of medical personnel and improve the protection ability and compliance with the implementation standards.It requires to correct the high-risk behaviors leading to occupational exposure, keep in mind the emergency treatment of occupational exposure, avoid or reduce the occurrence of occupational exposure, and ensure the occupational safety of medical personnel.

Chen Xinyu, director of the medical department of Zhejiang hospital, said that medical safety and nosocomial infection are the top priority of our work. We must improve our ideological understanding, clearly recognize the importance of this work, be vigilant, keep the alarm ringing and seriously implement relevant core systems and rules and regulations.It also was required to strictly follow the operation process and do a good job in all work so as to ensure medical quality and safety.Those would ensure problems unavailable in safe production.

6、 Further promoting the refined management of logistics and improve the comprehensive ability of safety management.

In order to better provide safe, effective and high-quality services for hospital medicine, education and research and promote fine management, the logistics management center of Zhejiang hospital organized the water and electricity maintenance personnel of the maintenance team to check the key division one by one, such as water, electricity and gas lines etc.The aim was to find out the hidden dangers and rectify them.When the flood season of this year is coming, personnel were organized to make preparations for flood control in advance to ensure the normal operation of the hospital during the flood season of this year.

Meanwhile, in order to strengthen safety production, improve the post responsibility system of various personnel, strengthen the safety management of key areas, especially the safety management of power distribution, oxygen, high-pressure boiler and purified water, it's required to set up the responsible person and establish and improve various responsibility systems so as to ensure the normal supply of water, electricity and gas in the hospital. Also, it is necessary to solidly promote the safe production of the health system, promote the building of hidden danger investigation and treatment, safety prevention and control and so on in order to create a safe and stable conditions for the development of the hospital.

Taking this safety month activity as an opportunity,Zhejiang hospital will further strengthen the publicity and education of hospital safety production, create a good safety culture atmosphere and strengthen the implementation of safety production responsibility system of all departments at all levels.Playing the main melody of "safe development", it is required to strengthen the strong offensive of "risk prevention", improve the consensus of all staff on "eliminating hidden dangers", promote implementing every "accident suppression" measures of the hospital so as to ensure the continuous improvement of hospital safety service.
