 Focus both on anti-epidemic and development, strive to advance without stop. The 8th Congress of Workers and Staff and the 4th Meeting of the 10th Labor Union Members’ Congress of Zhejiang Hospital was held at the Conference Center of Sandun Hospital Area on March 27, 2020. 165 formal representatives including political and governmental leaders and labor union chairman of the hospital, 23 non-voting delegates and 8 specially-invited delegates attended the meeting, and jointly proposed strategies for reform and development of the hospital. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Hong, Vice Director of the hospital.

On the preparatory meeting, Huang Qingdong, leader of the Proposal Team and Vice Director of Zhejiang Hospital answered the workers’ proposals and implementation status of the previous year one by one. Totally 50 proposals and rationalization proposals were received from workers’ representatives on the congress of workers and staff in the previous year, including 48 proposals. Ended the end of 2019, the proposal implementation rate was 95.7%. Yan Jing, Party Committee Secretary of Zhejiang Hospital made an opening speech, he said the new task of “Healthy Zhejiang” was implemented by the hospital in the passed year 2019; continued to deepen the concept of “maximally one-go”, and constructed a smart hospital in an all-round manner; actively accelerated the promotion and application of “two-card integration, and one-line-for-all” and the outstanding achievements made in “two-landing and two-enhancement”. While continuously undertaking the thematic education activity of “Staying true to the party’s original aspiration and the founding mission”, further accelerating integration and coordinated development of two hospital areas, the integrated management and homogeneous service effects were gradually manifested, with progress and development achieved in subject and specialty construction and total business revenues of the entire hospital, etc. Besides centering with the overall situation of reform and development in,we are also paying attention to strengthening democratic management, to improve the overall quality of employees, establish harmonious and stable labor relations, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees, etc., we have carried out a lot of and fruitful work, have promoted the rapid development of the business laid a solid foundation, and have significantly improved the welfare of workers and their amateur cultural life. He hopes that all the deputies could firmly establish a correct view of democracy, seriously discuss the experience of the hospital construction and development during the meeting, actively participate in the democratic management and supervision of the hospital, make suggestions for the development of the hospital, and strive to achieve the goal of the hospital benefits to a new level in the new year.

Then, Hong Chaoyang, Party Committee Secretary and Director of Zhejiang Hospital delivered the “Hospital Work Report” of Zhejiang Hospital to the meeting on behalf of the management level of the hospital. Hong Chaoyang specially pointed out that this meeting was an important meeting for the hospital to make all efforts in winning the tough battle against the epidemic, realizing epidemic control and prevention and “neither-ignoring and two-enhancement”of work and production resumption. Reviewed the work over the past one year, he emphasized that the hospital had deepened the implementation of important decisions and deployments from the Central Committee and Provincial Committee about strengthening the health work in 2019. According to the essences from the national and provincial health work meetings, anchoring the overall objectives for high quality development of the hospital centering with the central tasks from the hospital and promoting the comprehensive integration of both hospital areas under the strong leadership from the provincial health committee party committee. Outstanding performances were achieved for overall operation of the hospital, and a solid foundation was laid for further rapid development. Hong Chaoyang put forward the work thoughts for 2020: 2020 would be a closing year for comprehensively building into a moderately prosperous society and the “13th Five-Year-Plan”, would also be a critical year for high quality integrated development of both hospital areas of the hospital. All the hospital leaders respectively answered the relevant questions from the representatives. Yan Jing recalled the various agendas of the workers’ congress, and delivered an inspiring closing speech.
