    Liu Caixia, Director of Nursing Department at Zhejiang Hospital says, In the recent actual ward management during the epidemic prevention and control period, they have actually encountered many difficulties in the daily entry and exit management of patients, escorts, temporary personnel, visitors and other personnel; it will be inconvenient for management if conduct flow control on personnel of different roles; it will be difficult to trace if allowing pass by anonymity; the paper-medium registration is incovenient for statistics; if scattered procedures are used, it will be inconvenient for management; the workload for issuing and retrieving the pass is complicated and huge.

 In view of these painful points, they put forward the demand of intelligent management, and hence the “Smart Hospitalization Escorting Management System” is born at the right moment, launched by Zhejiang Hospital through collaborating with the internet-based health platform “Micro Pulse” and it’s the first online platform in China. It is reported that the system is centered on inpatients, and the relevant population management system is automatically generated when the patient is admitted, and will be automatically invalid when discharged, it has covered the whole process from admission preparation center to discharge, and it forges the process of “issuing”and “retrieving” escort card into a electronic and real-name process, and it truly realizes the transparency and traceability of the whole process, and brings convenience to ward management.

  During the epidemic prevention and control period, the application of many high-tech innovative products, such as infrared temperature detector and ICU mobile visit system, has also played a pivotal role in preventing and control the epidemic. The current put-in-use of the “Smart Hospitalization Escort Management System” enables epidemic control and prevention more efficient, and brings more conveniences to the families of patients. After successful adding, just proceed to get quick access at the entry and exit of the Inpatient Building with ID Card or mobile phone QR code scanning.

  Strictly implement the requirements of access and personnel control, strengthen prevention and control measures, and build a safety firewall to prevent and control the epidemic. Li Xingui, Chief of Security Department of Zhejiang Hospital says, keep the patients in mind, and offer initiative services; considering many people will feel at a loss since just getting in touch with such a “Black Technology”, particularly some elderly patients and escort personnel, so currently all the security guards with rotating duty at the Inpatient Building Hall, the Emergency Department and Preparation Center of Sandun Hospital Area have been received relevant trainings. And they could guide and instruct the patients for the adding and operation of the “Smart Hospitalization Escort System”hand by hand.

After successfully adding the escort personnel, return to the “Dragonfly Face Recognition Machine” for cancellation and then conduct the adding operation again if it needs to be changed. The patients could also scan the QR code and do the escort personnel change on the mobile phone by themselves.
