On August 5th, 2019, the training of new employees of our hospital began. More than two hundred new employees gathered in the Lingyin district of our hospital. Our hospital’s Party Secretary Yan Jing, Dean Hong Chaoyang, Vice Deans Cao Yongbao, Zhang Hong, Huang Qingdong, Jin Xiaoqing, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee He Xiaobo, and Vice Dean Song Baishan, and other leaders of the hospital were all present to welcome new employees.

Dean's Speech
"Welcome everyone to choose to come to our hospital!" Hong Chaoyang delivered a speech at the ceremony. On behalf of the hospital's leadership, he welcomed the arrival of new employees. Pre-job training: 5 days, spanning two campuses
Pre-job training for new employees is an important chapter in the hospital's "welcome to new employees" every year, and it is also an important step for new employees to improve their understanding of the hospital, adapt to the new environment of the hospital, and move towards a new professional life.
In order to make new employees transform their roles as soon as possible, familiarize with the hospital environment, feel the hospital’s culture, and integrate into the hospital atmosphere, our hospital carefully organized this pre-job training. Not only organized new employees to go to the outpatient clinic to accompany patients, and the training content covered the hospital’s career planning, quality and safety, science, education and research, personnel management and other aspects of the hospital’s rules and regulations, but also strove to enable new employees to understand the hospital’s various departments from the details, and all aspects of personal career development, so as to perform job duties better and gradually grow into talents.
The pre-job training for new employees lasted for five days and took place in Lingyin and Sandun campuses.
An ice-breaking trip
People from all over the country gathered in Zhejiang. Many new colleagues came to Hangzhou, a completely unfamiliar environment. Where did they live? How to travel? Before joining the hospital, the Youth League Committee had provided reliable housing information for new employees to help them find a comfortable home. Volunteers acted as teachers for new employees, and through the WeChat group of new employees, they helped to solve problems..
The WeChat groups of new employees have different group names, but the warm and mutually helpful friendship is the same. The ice-breaking ceremony was more like a big fraternity party. At the ice-breaking scene, everyone saw colleagues in the WeChat group who had a good chat but had never met! They experienced brainstorming together and completed challenging team tasks.
A viewing experience
If you have been a doctor for more than ten or twenty years, can you still remember your "initial heart"? What kind of career plan did you have? The professionalism of a doctor starts from the "heart". In this training, new employees would be organized to watch the movies "Great Doctor Sincerity" and "Lovely China" to strengthen their faith and will. Representatives of doctors and nurses took the stage to share their growth insights with the new employees. At the same time, the hospital would also provide training on "hospital service etiquette" and "doctor -patient communication" for new employees, and organize examinations.

One volunteer service
"Volunteers are passed down from generation to generation" The May Fourth Volunteer Oath Ceremony of our hospital is a highlight of the induction training for new employees. "I voluntarily become a volunteer in our college. I promise to do my best to help others and serve the society regardless of remuneration. Actively promote the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress" and earnestly fulfill responsibilities of the volunteer service work of the hospital. By watching the "When You Are Old" micro-film, the new employees learned from the advanced deeds of our hospital’s volunteer retired nurse Xu Hanmin, to further promote the spirit of volunteerism, spread the volunteer culture, and pass on the positive energy of volunteerism. We hope that new employees will actively join the volunteers of our hospital. A red song competition
The finale of this new employee training is the red song contest of "Using our Youth to Create Zhejiang Medicin's Youth ". From teaming up, selecting songs, rehearsing, to setting, they spent less than a week. This competition not only tested the teamwork ability of the new employees, cultivated the tacit understanding of cooperation, but also brought the feelings between each other closer.
