In order to implement the State Council's "Opinions on Deepening Medical Education Synergy to Further Promote Medical Education Reform and Development" and the "Guidance on Deepening "One Belt and One Road" Health Exchange and Cooperation (2018-2022) of the National Health and Under the guidance of the International Department of the National Health and Health Commission, the Talent Exchange Service Center of the National Health and Health Commission has taken the lead in establishing the "One Belt, One Road" Medical Talent Training Alliance. This alliance aims to strengthen the close communication and cooperation between medical schools, medical institutions, research institutes and related institutions in China and the "Belt and Road" countries. By playing the role of a bridge, the alliance will carry out personnel training and exchange programs in health system construction, health management, hospital management, nursing management, clinical medicine, infectious disease and chronic disease prevention and control, medical research, health and elderly care, health industry, etc. between China and medical and health-related institutions in the "Belt and Road" countries, and promote the joint development of health security, health development, and health innovation talent training between China and related countries.

From December 5 to 7, 2019, the "Belt and Road International Health Cooperation and Talent Cultivation Forum", organized by the Talent Exchange Service Center of the National Health Commission, was held in Chengdu, with the theme of "Seeking International Health Cooperation on Silk Road and Promoting International Exchange of Medical Talents The theme of the conference was "Seeking International Health Cooperation on Silk Road and Promoting International Exchange of Medical Talents". A plaque awarding ceremony was held for the board members of the "Belt and Road Medical Talent Cultivation Alliance", and Jin Xiaoqing, vice president of the hospital, received the plaque on behalf of the hospital.

At the opening ceremony, Zhang Junhua, secretary of the party committee and director of the center, introduced the important role played by the talent exchange service center of the National Health Care Commission in domestic medical talent training, training, standardized residency training assessment, title promotion examination and international exchange, and since the establishment of the Belt and Road Medical Talent Cultivation Alliance in June this year, it has been carrying out international cooperation and exchange by absorbing medical institutions and related medical education institutions at home and abroad. At present, there are 210 alliance member units, including 20 alliance director units.

Mr. Shao Meng, Director of Asia-Pacific Division, Department of International Cooperation, National Health Commission, introduced the strategic relationship between international cooperation on the "One Belt and One Road" and "Health China".

The conference had a main forum and 2 sub-forums, with more than 300 participants from more than 20 countries, including officials from ministries of health, heads of medical institutions, heads of medical schools, heads of research institutions, etc.
