No regrets about the youth that blossomed like a flower at that time

When I first came to Zhejiang Hospital, the hospital demanded that "we should treat patients better than our relatives", and in order to improve the quality of service, we carried out activities such as error-free and pain-free injections one after another. At that time, a few of us nurses in our early 20s responded positively and started to practice our injection techniques diligently.

In order to practice painless intramuscular injections, and to be able to hit the spot when giving intravenous injections, the nurses inserted the needles into their own or their companions' arms, trying to find out what kind of technique and strength could reduce the pain of the patients. That time and time again, the original smooth and tender arm is covered with needle holes. In the ward, a nurse enters to give an injection while the patient is sleeping. The nurse instructed the family not to wake him up, and after the injection was completed with the cooperation of the family, the patient did not notice a thing and remained asleep, sleeping so peacefully. The nurse smiled with relief, a wide and silent smile ......

I remember a nurse in the acupuncture department, she was also responsible for physical therapy and counseling taijiquan in the physical therapy department, so she often had to go to the clinic. The roads in Hangzhou were mostly sandy, bumpy and uneven, and the cars were dusty. The only means of transportation was a bicycle. Throughout the year, she either braved the heat or the cold, came in the wind and went in the rain, or squeezed the bus or rode a bicycle or walked to and from the patient's residence to the hospital. It is not uncommon for her to be covered in dust, splashed with rain and even fall. I have been doing this for years and years, leaving early and returning late, but I have no regrets.

The shadows of the robed trees on Lingyin Road are a reflection of the angelic figures, and the chirping of unknown birds is an eternal song of joy to our youth.
