I entered the hospital as an engineering technician who graduated from university and witnessed the disciplinary development of medical technology and medical engineering in the hospital.

In the 80's, the hospital introduced advanced medical equipment to drive the development of new disciplines. For example, in 1980, the application of 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG) was first started in East China, which also had a certain influence in the country at that time; the application of the first fully automatic biochemical analyzer in the province in 1985, which carried out the precedent of automation in the field of testing and expanded the application of new testing items; in 1986, the province was the first to introduce a central monitoring system and establish a monitoring ward, which played a great role in promoting the province's The introduction of Philips digital gastrointestinal X-ray machine in 1990 pioneered digital imaging technology; the import of the province's first magnetic resonance imaging system (MRI) in 1992, Philips DSA system, and later Siemens dual-source X-ray CT, flat-panel digital radiography (DR) in the province are technology leaders, the hospital related disciplines The development of the hospital plays a vital role.

The development of medical engineering technology also promotes the innovation of hospital management. In 1984, the hospital began to develop computer technology applications, holding national training courses on computer database applications; national continuing education courses on digital imaging technology. It was the first group of hospitals in the province to carry out the application of computer technology, and established a computer room (information center) in 1986; jointly developed a hospital management information system (HIS) with Zhejiang University. It was the first in the country to carry out quality control of medical equipment and set up a medical equipment quality control center.
