In those days, all internal medicine doctors had to participate in the discussion of difficult cases, and the then president, President Jin, personally presided over the discussion, and almost every young doctor was asked to answer questions. The outpatient building was built in the 1950s, but the style was not comparable to that of Building 1. To the south of the outpatient building was a large field of tea and balsam fir trees. Whenever it first cleared after the snow, the scenery outside the window was enchanting with blue sky and white snow! We doctors are living in the hospital side of Building 4 group dormitory, the hospital staff a total of just a few hundred people, basically familiar with. A resident is in charge of almost half of the ward, and the medical orders are filled out in triplicate with blue copy paper, and the medical records are all written by hand. Residents are responsible for 24 hours a day, and they are always present when a patient is rescued, because that is the best time for young doctors to learn. Emergency medicine was mainly for gastrointestinal and cardiovascular diseases, and there were also some patients with organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. At that time, there were more foreign guests, because our hospital was the only hospital designated for foreign guests. We often talked to some foreign patients and practiced our English, and the foreign patients were always given a large amount of US dollars in their bills. Cadre health care has always been one of the important work of our hospital, and I once won the national cadre health care advanced recognition in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, with Hu Jintao, Li Lanqing, Zeng Qinghong and other central leaders on the podium. The Department of Cardiology, under the leadership of President Jin Hongyi and other senior directors, has developed into an important specialty of the hospital, and for so many years, I have remained in the Department of Cardiology without forgetting my original intention! In these two years, I am in Aksu, Xinjiang, working hard for medical aid to Xinjiang. Our hospital is now developing rapidly, Lingyin, three pier two hospital area to open a new era, wishing Zhejiang Hospital a better future!
