On the morning of December 8, 2019, the wind carried a slight chill on the riverside of Qianjiang River in winter. The East Gate of the Intercontinental Hotel was crowded with people, and the first Hangzhou Women's 10 km Road Race hosted by Hangzhou Sports Bureau and Jianggan District People's Government was held in Qianjiang New City CBD, a new landmark in Hangzhou. Zhejiang Hospital, as the official medical partner, undertook the medical security task of the event, and the Red Cross Society of Zhejiang Province - Zhejiang Hospital Red Cross Emergency Ambulance Volunteer Service Team carefully formulated the implementation plan of medical security work and successfully completed the The tournament medical security work.　

The scale of this event is about 2500 people, aiming to attract female runners to explain "beauty, on the road; running, live yourself" with sweat and convey the new era of female spirit of "self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement". The medical security work is based on the core of our Zhejiang Red Cross Society - Zhejiang Hospital Red Cross Emergency Ambulance Volunteer Team members, consisting of cardiology, orthopedics, emergency medicine physicians, medical simulation center AHA senior instructors, critical care medicine and emergency medicine nurses and rehabilitation therapists, the composition of emergency personnel can be said to be elite, medical security team by the Zhejiang Red Cross Society - Zhejiang Hospital Red Cross Emergency Ambulance Volunteer Team leader Ren Min as the leader.  Strict training was given to the medical rescue station personnel and first-aid personnel on the track, as well as the use of first-aid kits and AEDs before the race. It is worth mentioning that, for this event, Zhejiang Hospital also sent a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation team, they are medical institutions across the country to Zhejiang Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Center for further training of medical and nursing staff, as race volunteers, after professional training, they will accompany the whole race, always observe the state of the track runners, timely detection of abnormalities.

At 7:00 am on December 8, the medical security team arrived at the destination. Despite the cold wind, everyone was in full spirits and quickly entered the designated medical sites and responsible road sections according to the pre-race division of labor, checking the first aid kit, AED and some trauma drugs, waiting for the arrival of the race.

As the official medical partner of the Hangzhou Women's 10km Road Race, our hospital actively made preparations for medical treatment, setting up four fixed medical points and three groups of track first aid teams with more than 30 people in accordance with the competition. During the race, we promptly dealt with some participants' leg sprains and abrasions, reacted quickly and handled them decisively, which was praised by everyone. The cardiopulmonary rehabilitation team observed every participant at all times, found safety hazards in time, and accompanied the last participant to cross the finish line.

Each team member always maintained full enthusiasm and responsible dedication, provided comprehensive medical services for the participants, warmed each participant with their love and practical actions, fully demonstrated the emergency treatment ability of Zhejiang Hospital people with excellent quality and good education, perfectly interpreted the selfless dedication of Zhejiang Hospital people, and successfully completed the medical security task of the event.
