At the time of pandemic

Who dares to stand on the horse and cross the sword?

Only I, the children of China.

Only I am a soldier in white.

On the morning of January 31, the hospital held a departure ceremony for Dr. Shen Shien from the Department of Medical Laboratory, Dr. Chen Shangzhong from the ICU (II) and Dr. Ge Ke from the Department of Infectious Diseases. According to the unified deployment of the provincial health and health commission, they will serve as the first echelon of Zhejiang provincial medical reinforcement team of clinical and testing medical personnel to reinforce the First Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the designated hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of Zhejiang  Coronavirus Pneumonia, to join forces to fight the pneumonia epidemic of coronavirus infection.

In the life-and-death struggle to resist the epidemic's impact on the health dam, the courage to be a wordless and white cornerstone to protect life, at the departure ceremony, our hospital party secretary Yan Jing, President Hong Chaoyang encouraged them: "fear no risk, fear no difficulty, fear no sacrifice, scientific rationality, love without borders, against the odds, to meet the epidemic, you and the Zhejiang medical people who have already rushed to Wuhan, are all good. You are good. While doing a good job, be sure to strictly regulate protection and protect yourselves, we wait for you to come back."

This Spring Festival, our medical staff have volunteered and actively requested to participate in the prevention and control of the epidemic and medical treatment work. Whether in Hangzhou or Wuhan, they were continuously fighting on the front line. As of January 31, the hospital has sent 10 people to fully support Wuhan in the fight against the new pneumonia epidemic. After the first echelon of the provincial medical reinforcement team, the second echelon of the provincial medical reinforcement team, which was reinforced by Zhejiang Hospital to the first hospital of Zhejiang University, was also ready for the battle.

Fighting the "epidemic" together

Their hearts are fervent and their intentions are fond

Diligent and forgetful, sacrificing life and death

Kudos to them

Cheer for Zhejiang

Shen Shien, medical laboratory technician of our hospital

After saying hello to his wife, he went to the front line of the fight against the epidemic without any hesitation, "Every medical personnel is obliged to do their duty in order to win the battle of epidemic prevention and control. Now the people trust the most is the medical staff, we can not retreat." Shen Shien said with conviction. Family members are not studying medicine, said not worry about his safety is false, but Shen Shien is most pleased to read the first year of his daughter has grown up, more understanding and support for his father's career and duty. "I will protect myself and return safely, please rest assured that colleagues, please rest assured that the family." He said.

Chen Shangzhong Our hospital ICU (II) physician

Seeing the innocent smiling face of a 6-month-old child is the most satisfying moment after Chen Shangzhong's exhaustion, but this Spring Festival, such opportunities are few and far between. When he received the news of reinforcements yesterday, he rushed back to Hangzhou from Yuhuan Second Hospital in the countryside to prepare for the reinforcements. In the past six years, he has been involved in the rescue of many cases of critically ill patients, "rushing to the front line, as medical personnel is the duty, it is incumbent." Chen Shangzhong said. When the spring blooms and the epidemic subsides, he is looking forward to walking around West Lake with his children and enjoying the beauty of the earth.

Ge Ke, a physician in our Infectious Disease Department

This Spring Festival has been very "sour" for doctors like Ge Ke in the Infectious Diseases Department. As the epidemic continued, the medical staffs who were fighting against the epidemic worked for a long time in protective suits, like "supermen". Wearing protective clothing without eating, drinking or resting has become their battle routine. Now he has to go out again, he has no regrets: "In such a critical moment, as a medical personnel, especially an infection doctor, I feel obliged to do so.
