In 2017, Fudan University ranked top 10 in China's geriatrics specialty reputation ranking, the second in East China; East China Geriatrics Center Alliance chairman unit, Zhejiang Province geriatrics main unit; National Geriatrics Clinical Medical Research Center sub-center, national geriatrics clinical nutrition implementation demonstration base and Zhejiang Province geriatrics diagnosis and treatment guidance center; Zhejiang Province medical key discipline group (geriatrics), Zhejiang Province Chinese and Western medicine geriatrics key disciplines; Zhejiang Province medical key innovation disciplines (geriatric reverse ageing medicine and anti-aging medicine), Zhejiang Province Institute of Geriatrics, Zhejiang Province geriatrics key laboratory.

Strong faculty strength

There are 22 teaching instructors with senior titles, including 1 doctoral supervisor and 17 master supervisors.

Professor Yan Jing, the director of the base, is a chief physician, professor and doctoral supervisor, and is the secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital. He is also the vice president of the Chinese Gerontological Society and president of the Critical Care Branch, the standing committee of the Geriatrics Branch of the Chinese Physicians Association, the chairman of the East China Geriatrics Center Alliance, the former chairman of the Geriatrics Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association, and the director of the Zhejiang Geriatrics Diagnosis and Treatment Guidance Center.

Three of them, including Prof. Yan Jing, Prof. Chen Huaihong and Prof. Chen Xinyu, received the first geriatrics teacher training qualification. A number of teaching instructors, including Prof. Chen Xujiao, received the training qualification certificate of geriatric medicine improvement class.

Obvious disciplinary advantages

The base disciplines are geriatric neurodegenerative diseases, geriatric cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, geriatric renal failure, geriatric infection and respiratory failure, geriatric emergency and multi-organ injury, geriatric nutrition and metabolism-related diseases, geriatric rehabilitation, geriatric mental disorder diseases, etc.

In 2014, we took the lead in self-development of intelligent geriatric medical assessment system in China, obtained several national software copyrights, authored the "Expert Consensus on the Application of Integrated Geriatric Assessment Technology in China", and built a collaborative platform of intelligent geriatric syndrome management network covering more than 40 hospitals nationwide, and is a national training base for allied personnel in integrated geriatric assessment.

Leading scientific research work

Research directions include: 1. research on the diagnosis and treatment of frailty and sarcopenia in the elderly; 2. research on monitoring and support techniques for critical illnesses in the elderly; 3. research on the epidemiology and diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (especially community prevention and treatment techniques); 4. research on the mechanism of aging and anti-aging treatment; 5. research on the prevention and treatment of endocrine and metabolic diseases (diabetes and osteoporosis, etc.), etc.

Rich teaching and training

The base has a standardized teaching system and a complete training system, including entry training, clinical teaching, skill operation and exit examination, etc., providing rich teaching activities. There is a 4000m² teaching room, which is the largest clinical skills center in Zhejiang Province, with simulated outpatient clinic, simulated ward, simulated resuscitation room, and clinical comprehensive skills training room.

Admissions and places

Geriatric Medicine (3 students), 2 years of study.

Candidates

1. Clinicians who have completed the standardized internal medicine residency training (hereinafter referred to as "residency training") and obtained the certificate of eligibility, and voluntarily participate in the specialized training.

2. Clinicians who have not participated in residency training in the past, but have intermediate or above medical professional and technical qualifications.

3. Declaration of specialties should be consistent with the clinical work position where I am.

4. All of the above personnel must participate voluntarily and obtain the approval of their units.

5. Not to recruit free medical graduates of rural order-oriented training in violation of the contract.

Recruiting process

1. Fill in the volunteer (January 15~20)

Applicants log on the management platform of standardized training for specialist physicians of China Medical Association (hereinafter referred to as "special training management platform"), register and fill in the volunteer.

2. Admissions (January 21~31)

Examination time: theoretical examination on January 24, 9:00~11:00, clinical ability interview examination on January 24, afternoon.

Examination location: Our hospital.

Examination content: including theoretical assessment and clinical ability interview test two parts, mainly test candidates basic theory, clinical skills and comprehensive quality.

Acceptance form: In accordance with the principle of merit, the admission list will be released online.

Treatment guarantee

1. Salary guarantee: follow the principle of equal pay for equal work, and make appropriate adjustment according to individual performance assessment.

2. Accommodation guarantee: the hospital provides free accommodation (utilities are self-financed).
