The 26th "World Dementia Day" is coming, how much do you know about the causes of dementia

The number of dementia patients worldwide is about 52 million, and there is one new dementia patient every 3 seconds; the number of dementia patients in China has reached 10 million, and the number of family caregivers in China is about 40 million, while two-thirds of the families know little about it, and the annual social and economic burden caused by dementia in China reaches 1,200 billion. So, how do we properly face "dementia"?

  On September 21, the 26th World Dementia Day, our hospital will hold a lecture to introduce dementia-related knowledge. On the day of the event, there will be consultation services and small gifts (first come, first served, while supplies last).

Li Yan

Dr. Li Yan is a neurologist in our hospital. She specializes in the clinical management of cerebrovascular disease, dizziness and neurodegenerative diseases, and has published 5 SCI papers.

Yu Chen Ya

Deputy Chief Nurse of Neurology Department in our hospital. She has been engaged in clinical work of neurology for more than 10 years, and has worked in cardiac rehabilitation department, critical care medicine department and neurology department successively. She has rich clinical experience and specializes in the care of neurology diseases such as stroke, Parkinson's disease and senile dementia.
