Medical Equipment Management Center of Zhejiang Province

Medical Equipment Management Center of Zhejiang Province  ("the Center" for short), under the leadership of the Health and Family Planning Commission of Zhejiang Province, is responsible for the planning and overall management of the province's medical equipment, unified command and coordination of the work of relevant departments, timely grasp and study of information on medical equipment planning and management as well as quality control, and decision-making around planning and quality management. The Center works under the guidance of the Health and Family Planning Commission of Zhejiang Province and its main functions include: (1) providing suggestions on the province's medical equipment planning and instructing medical, health, and family planning institutions to develop and implement plans on medical equipment planning, allocation, and utilization; (2) drafting technical standards, management specifications, and personnel requirements for medical equipment management; (3) being responsible for medical equipment quality control in medical, health, and family planning institutions; (4) technically demonstrating and guiding the application of new medical equipment in medical, health, and family planning institutions; (5) building, operating, and administrating the medical equipment information management platform; (6) being responsible for medical equipment-related academic communication, continuing education for on-the-job personnel, and job training; (7) completing other tasks assigned by the Health and Family Planning Commission of Zhejiang Province. The Center is affiliated to Zhejiang Hospital.
