October 20 is "International
Osteoporosis Day", and this year's theme is "Early Bone Screening,
Early Fracture Prevention". Osteoporosis is a systemic bone disease that
causes a decrease in bone density and quality, and the destruction of bone
microstructure, resulting in increased bone fragility, which makes it prone to
fracture. The incidence of the disease increases with age. So, at what age
should we be concerned about the problem? How to prevent it? How to screen for
it? For this reason, we have invited Dr. Ruan Yuan, deputy director of the
Department of Endocrinology, to give a lecture on the topic of osteoporosis,
and we will provide free bone density testing on site. Please bring your
relevant medical records for consultation, we sincerely look forward to your
arrival!
