On April 1, 2022, the sixth meeting of the Eighth Staff Congress of Zhejiang Hospital was successfully held in the Sandun Hospital area. In compliance with the regulations and requirements related to epidemic prevention and control, 156 official delegates and one invited delegate attended the on-site meeting, and 61 attended delegates and 26 staff representatives who were sent to perform temporary medical tasks overseas participated in the meeting through the live broadcast platform, which was presided over by He Xiaobo, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of Zhejiang Hospital.

In the preparatory meeting, He Xiaobo, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of Zhejiang Hospital, made a statement on the implementation of the proposals of the last Staff Congress. During the fifth meeting of the eighth session of the Staff Congress, a total of 30 proposals were received from staff representatives, of which 28 were implemented, 2 could not be implemented due to policy reasons, the proposal response rate was 100%, and the implementation rate was 93.3%. The proposals of "about the aging-friendly renovation in the hospital, warming people's hearts in the smallest detail" proposed by Li Min and "about the establishment of an independent hospital operation and management department" proposed by Zhang Weijuan and Chen Fang were listed as excellent proposals.

In the solemn sound of the national anthem, the conference was officially opened. Yan Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Hospital, delivered the opening speech. Then, Chen Jun, president of Zhejiang Hospital, made a report on the work of the hospital. Chen Jun said that 2021 is the opening year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the first year of in-depth cooperation between Zhejiang Hospital and Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Zhejiang Hospital Vice President Jin Xiaoqing delivered a closing speech. She pointed out that in 2022, the hospital will focus on the objectives and tasks against the "14th Five-Year Plan", promote all aspects of work, strengthen comprehensive budget management and operational cost control, further improve hospital management, and take a new step in the level of discipline construction, talent team building, scientific research projects and medical technology level.
