Direct economic returns to principal units at which the project was completed: Using this prescribing method in clinics and teaching, teachers and students can select acupoints in a reasonable order and clearly explain reasons to perform acupuncture for different diseases. This is an innovation of the acupuncture prescription. It can be used as a reference for clinical practice and teaching of acupuncture.

Promotion, application, and social benefits: The achievement has been promoted to and applied by teachers, young and middle-aged acupuncturists, and primary-level acupuncturists and via publishing works and papers and organizing workshops. It has been promoted to four units in Zhejiang Province.
