On April 6, Zhejiang Hospital held the 28th batch of foreign medical aid team members pre-departure mobilization and farewell party to send off the orthopedic department (three) assistant director Zhao Xinhua, attending physician, and anesthesia and surgery department assistant nurse Zhang Ruxin, nurse practitioner in charge, who will depart for Mali to carry out 18 months of medical aid work. Party Secretary Yan Jing, President Chen Jun, Vice Presidents Wan Shu and Chen Xinyu attended the meeting, and comrades in charge of functional departments such as Organization and Personnel Department, Medical Department, Nursing Department and other relevant clinical departments such as Orthopedics (III) and Operating Room attended the farewell party.

Chen Jun first thanked the two team members for their initiative and pointed out that foreign medical aid has a great responsibility and honorable mission, and that foreign aid workers, no matter where they are, should keep their original intention and carry forward the fine tradition of medical aid and the practical and willing spirit of the hospital. Chen Jun urged the two members of the team to observe discipline while also paying attention to safety, take care of their health, and asked the relevant functional departments to do a good job in the back of the team to give care and support, so that the foreign medical aid team members in the front to work at ease.

Yan Jing pointed out at the meeting that foreign aid medical treatment is an important part of China's foreign aid, but also an important responsibility to highlight the public welfare of public hospitals. After going through the initial selection and half-year intensive training, the two team members will soon embark on foreign aid work, but also face changes in the work environment and service populations and other aspects. We hope that the two foreign aid team members will actively carry out medical activities, dare to take charge and act well, firmly believe in their ideals, strictly adhere to political discipline, care for and help other team members, and contribute to the building of a human health community while doing a good job of personal protection in the face of the epidemic. The hospital will also act as a strong backing and do a good job in protecting the foreign aid team members and their families.

The two team members also made statements, thanking the hospital for its care and support, saying that they would not disgrace their mission in the foreign aid work, carrying forward the foreign aid medical spirit of "braving hardship, willing to dedicate, saving lives and helping the injured, and showing a good image of the country, the unit and the individual. During the period of foreign aid, we will strictly follow the rules and regulations of the State and Provincial Health and Wellness Commission for foreign aid medical teams, abide by local laws, respect local customs and traditions, strictly abide by foreign affairs discipline, and resolutely complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the State as well as the hospital to bring glory to the motherland and color to the hospital.

In the afternoon of April 12, the Provincial Health and Wellness Commission held a farewell ceremony for the 28th batch of foreign medical aid team, and Wang Renyuan, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Provincial Health and Wellness Commission, attended and made a mobilization speech. The medical team left from Shanghai that evening by plane for Mali to carry out foreign medical aid tasks.
