40 Degree High Temperature, Bravely Forge Ahead, the Yiwu Nucleic Acid Sampling First-Aid Team of Our Hospital Returns in Triumph!

At 20:00 on August 3, 2022, a starry night, the nucleic acid sampling medical team from Zhejiang Hospital consisted of 152 medical staff departed to aid Yiwu, bravely forged ahead toward the place in need of them. At 4:00 in the morning of the 4^th, they went to the various local communities in Yiwu after a short break for nucleic acid sampling task.

They were continuously fighting on duty against a high temperature of 40^oC, and the first team members returned to Hangzhou on August 7^th, and on August 10^th the other 78 team members who had fought for 7 days in Yiwu finally returned in triumph.

The leader of the Nucleic Acid Sampling Team from Zhejiang Hospital Aiding Yiwu and Deputy Director of Nursing Department of Zhejiang Hospital, Chen Fang said, the footprints of the Nucleic Acid Sampling First-Aid Team were throughout 38 communities and villages in Yiwu, with totally 55 sampling points, and the team members were continuously sampling for 7 days, with total sampling headcount of 318888 person/time.

Every time they started, it was just dawn at 3 o’clock in the morning, and everyone was still in deep asleep, but they had prepared to leave for various nucleic acid sampling points. The fierce sun was shining sharply, they were all wet every time on duty. The protective gown, mask and face shield were impermeable protections but made every team member to suffer from the burning of high temperature. In the face of such sweat, in the face of such a difficult environment, the team members did not have a trace of complaint, but accomplished the arduous task day after day with professional and excellent technology.

During the nucleic acid sampling period in Yiwu, the team members showed the responsibility and task of “Zhejiang Hospital Medical Staff”, and used their professionalism, carefulness and love to build a safe defense line against the epidemic.

Some of them spent their unforgettable birthdays in Yiwu, but a bowel of ordinary longevity noodles were their best memories.

They had received the most sincere thanks in Yiwu, dozens of handwritten letters of thanks and many certificates of merit were the best appreciations from the Yiwu people to them.

They had already put their personal gains and losses behind them, and some team members have already embarked on a new journey after coming back and finishing isolation……

They have returned triumphantly, and many comrades are still fighting on the front line against the epidemic.

At 16:30 on August 5, 2022, 10 members of the Nucleic Acid Testing Medical Team from Zhejiang Hospital went to Jinhua to aid the nucleic acid testing work there.
